HUTB Party Secretary Tang Yayang Visit Zhuobi Village for Inspection

On July 21 and 22,Tang Yayang, Secretary of HUTB Party Committee, visited Zhuobi Village, Longxipu Town, Xinshao County to inspect the village assistance work.
During the two-day inspection, Secretary Tang visited and expressed regards to Peng Pinghui, Zhuobi Village's accountant who was seriously ill; Secretary Tang delivered consolation money to the old comrades who had positively contributed to the construction of the village; Secretary Tang inspected the roadbed construction project of Sanliandong Highway leading to Xinhua County, the tractor road construction project for the organic purple grain base, and the carving project of natural cultural stones along the Sanxilong route. He pointed out that Sanliandong Highway is of profound significance for the development of rural tourism and rural revitalization in Zhuobi Village and Xiayuan area. Thus, he urged the construction team to build the Sanliandong Highway with good quality and sufficient workload and he also put forward specific measures to tackle the problem of highway hardening. In the Zhuobi Primary School,Secretary Tang inspected the hardware upgrading and transformation, visited the volunteer teachers fromgraduate schools, and praised these volunteers for their selfless devotion to the primary education; Secretary Tang inspected the work of site selection and construction for the poverty alleviation project, the anti-static glove processing workshop in Zhuobi Village. He pointed out, “It's better to teach a man how to fish than give him fish.Industrial poverty alleviation is an important way for people to increase incomes. We should vigorously establish such workshops with which, more impoverished people can find jobs and increase incomes without leaving far away from their homes. We should continuously enhance the vitality of such workshops to help poverty-stricken households and collective economic enterprises in the village to increase incomes”; Secretary Tang visited Tao Xiaohui’s and Tao Guangting’s families, two impoverished households under pairing assistance. He delivered them consolation money and asked them in detail about their current situations and the assistance they had received, and their remaining difficulties.
At the discussion meeting involving the “Village Party Branch Committee and Villager Committee” (Two Committees), the Poverty Alleviation Team Stationed in the Village and Party member representatives, Secretary Tang carefully heard the reports from the Two Committees and the Poverty Alleviation Team on the achievements Zhuobi Village had made in poverty alleviation over the past two years or so as well as Zhuobi Village's future development and practical problems on the road of revitalization after getting out of poverty. Secretary Tang indicated that the universitywill fully support Zhuobi Village’s construction into a model village of rural revitalization. Zhuobi Village is totally made up of immigrants.
