The Delegation of Hunan Institute of Engineering Led by Party Secretary Chen Yuetang and President Yi Bing Visits HUTB

On the afternoon of July 7, a 6-member delegation of Hunan Institute of Engineering led by Party Secretary Chen Yuetang, President Yi Bing, and Vice President Luo Yiping visited Hunan University of Technology and Business (HUTB) for investigation and exchange. The exchange seminar was attended by HUTB’s Party Secretary Tang Yayang and Vice President Peng Jinqing, and heads of the Graduate School, the Development Planning Division, the Finance Division, the Party Committee Office, the PrincipalOffice, and the Scientific Research ManagementDivision and presided over by Vice President Zeng Fuqiu.
The exchange seminar was held at Conference Room 702 in the Second Office Building. At the seminar, Tang Yayang, HUTB’s Party Secretary expressed his welcome to the delegation led by Secretary Chen Yuetang and President Yi Bing,and his congratulations to Hunan Institute of Engineering on its rising to a first-tier university. He briefly introduced HUTB’s development history, and then he analyzed the fundamental reasons for and main experiences in HUTB’s rapid and healthy development and outstanding achievements in recent years from the five aspects of goal guidance, problem orientation, reform and innovation, seizing opportunities, and party building guarantees.He hoped that the two universities will strengthen inter-universityexchanges, learn from each other and promote each other to pursue common progress.
Chen Yuetang, Party Secretary of Hunan Institute of Engineering,expressed his thanks to HUTB for the warm reception. He pointed out that HUTB’s school-running achievements and its successful experience provide a very good example and reference for us. He added that Hunan Institute of Engineering will fully learn from the good experience to achieve new breakthroughs in its development. Yi Bing, President of Hunan Institute of Engineering,expressed his thanks to HUTB for its long-term concern and support. He explained the history and situation of Hunan Institute of Engineering and hoped to learn more successful development experience from HUTB. He noted that HUTB leaders are welcome to Hunan Institute of Technology to give on-site guidance.
