2 HUTB Students Evaluated as“100 Outstanding Undergraduate Party Members of 2020 in Hunan”

On July 1, the Education Committee of Hunan Provincial Party Committee announced the evaluation results of the 100 Outstanding Undergraduate Party Members of 2020 in the Province. Two of HUTB students recommended by HUTB Party Committee won the honorary title of “Outstanding Undergraduate Party Members of 2020 in Hunan Province”. They are Li Hongxuan, a postgraduate student from the School of Finance, and Li Rongli, an administrative management major from the School of Law & Public Administration.
This year’s evaluation of outstanding undergraduate Party members was held when the epidemic prevention and control came to a critical stage. HUTB’s CPC Organization Department and Student Affairs Division elaborately organized this recommendation, and all relevant departments and secondary schools cooperated with each other, thus ensuring that the relevant work was completed with high quality and expected results.
In recent years, HUTB has thoroughly implemented the fundamental tasks of moral education and talent cultivation,and given play to the exemplary and leading role of Party building in talent cultivation. Thus, HUTB has seen remarkable results in this aspect. The 2 HUTB students who won the titleof the Top 100 undergraduate Party members this year have solid political stance, firm convictions, excellent academic performance, comprehensive quality, and outstanding service awareness. They have played the vanguard and exemplary role of undergraduate Party members and represented the positive mental outlook and good quality of HUTB students.
It is expectedthatthese commended undergraduate Party members can cherish the honor and strictly discipline themselves with the standards for Party members. It is hoped thatthey can further study Xi Jinping’s thoughts on socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, adhere to the unity of knowledge and action, learn the truth from practices, enhance their skills, and strive to make better performance.All HUTB studentsare expected tofollow the example of advanced models, hold firm beliefs and lofty ambitions, and keep in mind General Secretary Xi Jinping’s ardent expectation to bravely perform your responsibilities and shine your youth brightly in the places where your are most needed by the Party and the people!
