Office of Hunan Provincial Supervisory Committee Ombudsmen Stationed in HUTB Opened

On the morning of July 3, the opening ceremony of the Office of Hunan Provincial Supervisory Committee Ombudsmen stationed in Hunan University of Technology and Business(HUTB)was held on the 9th floor of Second Office Building. Party Secretary Tang Yayang and President & Academician Chen Xiaohong jointly unveiled the nameplate of the “Office of Hunan Provincial Supervisory Committee Ombudsmen Stationed in Hunan University of Technology and Business”.

Subsequently, Secretary Tang Yayang attended the third meeting of the Discipline Inspection Committee in 2020. He pointed out that the officialopening of the Office of Hunan Provincial Supervisory Committee Ombudsmen Stationed in HUTB marks an important step HUTB has taken in the reform of discipline inspection and supervision system. He noted that this opening is also of great significance for HUTB’s giving better play to the supervision role of the discipline inspection and supervision agency and advancing progress in practicing strict Party self-governance. He emphasized that HUTB’s discipline inspection and supervision cadres should adapt to theirnew identity and responsibilities and make further progress in improving the political stance, the ability to perform duties, the awareness of rules and disciplines, and self-discipline. He urged that the discipline inspection and supervision cadres should take the opening of the ombudsmen office as a new start to undertake new missions and to act boldly in providing strong discipline guarantees for buildingHUTBintoa high-level university for technology and business.
