Our Students Won a Good Result in the Provincial College Student Programming Competition.

From Sep. 1 - 2, the 14th Hunan College Students Computer Programming Competition was held in Hunan Agricultural University under the sponsorship of Education Department of Hunan Province and the co-organization of Hunan Higher Education Federation Computer Education Committee. The competition was divided into programming, application development and robotics, and 300 teams from more than 40 colleges and universities, including National University of Defense Technology, Central South University and Hunan University, participated in the competition.

    School of Computer Science & Information Technology of our University organized teams to participate in the competition. With the strong support of all departments of the University, and after more than two months of special training and careful preparation, the contestants worked hard, and 8 teams won 3 items of second prize and 2 items of the third prize under the guidance of He Dian, Nie Ding, Zhang Sheng, Zhao Jue, Wu Lianshi, Shi Liangwu, Chen Rongyuan, Zhou Xinmin, Luo Bin and other teachers.

    Hunan College Student Computer Programming Competition is a college students-oriented science and technology innovation activity. It aims to stimulate college students' interests in computer programming, improve students' ability to comprehensively use the basic knowledge to conduct the algorithm design, analysis and programming realization, improve the development level of college students in computer hardware and software system, cultivate innovation ability and the team cooperation spirit of colleges students, and promote the teaching reform of computer basic and professional courses in colleges and universities.
