Our University's 2017 University Students Subject Competition Made More Success

The subject competition is important to cultivate talents for innovation and entrepreneurship, which is one of the main standards reflecting the quality of personnel training. Under the correct leadership of the school party committee and administration in 2017, the Academic Affairs Office further strengthened subject competition management with focus on selection, training, and competition. Under the joint efforts of all teachers and students in the competition, students of our university scored good results in 13 subject competitions (including mathematical modeling) held by educational administrative department. They won 3 national first prizes, 2 national second prizes and 1 national third prize; 10 provincial first prizes, 25 provincial second prizes and 29 provincial third prizes, and the level of awards were continuously optimized. The number of prizes increased by 25% compared to last year, reaching a high record.
