President Chen Xiaohong Was Invited to Participate in the First Summit of Xiangjiang Big Data Innovation

The First Xiangjiang Big Data Innovation Summit which took the "data sharing and innovation win-win" as the theme was inaugurated in Changsha of Hunan Province, and our President Chen Xiaohong was invited to participate in the summit and make a speech on 23, December. This summit was sponsored by Science and Technology Department of Hunan Province and Xiangjiang New District Administration Committee. Zhang Dafang, vice chairman of Provincial CPPCC, and the responsible persons from the Science and Technology Department of the province and Xiangjing New District Administration Committee attended the opening ceremony. Besides, more than 500 guests, famous experts and big data scholars from the higher education universities, and well-known Internet technology enterprises and media also attended. Hunan TV broadcasted news of the conference on its Daily News Broadcast.

President Chen Xiaohong made a speech with the title of "Big Data Analysis and Accurate Administration". She analyzed the current situation and trend of government big data application in her report, and pointed out that the government data sharing and cooperation were especially emphasized under the big data environment and the framework construction which was based on everyone, as a result, the sharing and collegiality shall be realized. She also shared our Big Data and Internet Innovation Research Institute's latest research achievements in the big data application about environment, which attracted the highly attention from the participating experts and enterprises. The president Chen Xiaohong had created the favorable conditions for our university to further carry out the exchange and cooperation with enterprises and public institutions when she was invited to participate in the First Xiangjiang Big Data Innovation Summit, make the report and show the latest achievements of our Big Data and Internet Innovation Research Institute on our province's big data platform.

At the summit, Xu Zongben, CAS academician, made a speech with the title of "Big Data Opportunity and Challenge under the Innovation-driven Development", and Wang Zhongying, researcher and deputy director of Energy Research Institute under the National Development and Reform Commission, and other well-known experts in the aspect of big data also made wonderful speeches. The launching ceremony of "Xiangjiang Big Data Innovation Research Institute" and "Xiangjiang Big Data Industry Alliance" was also held during the summit. The summit forum abut financial big data development was conducted. The participants focused on the big data application's current situation including finance, industry, energy, big data about traffic, business credit investigation and so on.
