Job Fair for 2017 Graduates of Hunan Economy and Trade

The Hunan Economic and Trade 2017 University Graduates Supply and Demand Meeting sponsored by HNUC was grandly held in the gymnasium on November 25. Applying the online and offline interactive "O2O" mode, the job fair had realized the precision docking between the employing units and graduates in the aspect of "employment demand".

The president Chen Xiaohong, the deputy president Zeng Fuqiu, the first-grade honorary professor Liu Siwei, the director of Hunan Junior College and Special Secondary School Students Information Consultation and Employment Guidance Center Cao Min, and the director of Students' Affairs Division and Employment Office under the Provincial Education Department Zhou Jun were present in the job fair. They extended their welcome and gratitude for the talents selection of enterprises.

This Meeting made the first attempt at applying the internet + mode, specifically speaking, O2O recruitment system was adopted to realize the online-offline real-time participation, electronic registration, precise post matching, real-time data statistics, etc. This job fair had attracted nearly 500 well-known enterprises, such as, Zoomlion Heavy Industry, Sany Heavy Industry, Suning Commerce Group and so on, including 241 offline employing enterprises and 260 online employing enterprises, as a result, 1,774 kinds of posts and 14,850 jobs were provided for more than 6,000 graduates who were from 26 colleges and universities across the countries, such as, Xiangtan University, Chongqing Technology and Business University, CSUFT, Qilu University of Technology, Shanxi University of Finance & Economics, Hunan University of Science and Technology, HNUT, University of South China, Hunan Institute of Finance and Economy and so on, meanwhile, these employing enterprises received more than 10,000 resumes.

"Internet+ employment" mode and O2O employment platform, make graduates do precise docking with the employing units, specifically speaking, the students can know and select the enterprises in advance, and submit their resumes, meanwhile, the employing units can invite the desirable students to apply for the job, in summary, the job fair can be guaranteed to be successful because the graduates made interaction with employing units in advance and the satisfaction degree of both parties can be enhanced.

On the job fair, the graduates can search their intentional jobs and realize the automatic searching function via "shouting" on the job fair; certainly, the employing units can invite the participating graduates to come to their exhibition booths to submit resumes or accept the interview. It was extremely convenient and efficient.

According to the online data statistics, Zoomlion Heavy Industry, Xiangya Pharmaceutical, Jiajiashun Group, Zhongshenhua Accounting Firm, Sany Group, China Golden Light Industry Limited and other units got the most of the resumes in the employment intention sense. According to the talents demand, the marketing, computer software, financial accounting, human resources management and hotel management specialty ranked top.

In addition, the live broadcasting was also applied on the job fair. The presenters will ask questions, and enterprise representatives will make the related answers to introduce their company conditions and post requirements. All guests said that the graduates of HNUC were appreciated by the large-scale enterprises by their strong practical and manipulative ability. The employment rate was relatively high in the whole province.

The job fair was crowded, and many low-grade students were also present, besides the senior students who needed to apply for jobs. Sun Xin, a senior student who had applied to several large-scale enterprises for the accountant, made her proposals to these brother-sister-school students: "The interviewers always pay attention to the working experience and practice, therefore, it is necessary to lay emphasis on the practice when you lay the professional knowledge foundation during the sophomore and junior year". A graduate of Foreign Language College Yi Meisheng said that "you shall not make a decision untimely when you select the suitable enterprises. It is necessary to get more understanding. The final foothold shall lie in the consistent demands of both parties".

Different employing units held the different standards to recruit the interviewees. Such as, as for the sales post, the talents who held the strong communication and expressive ability will be popular, according to the responsible person of Shenzhen HOME LINK; The responsible person who came from Changsha Xiangjiang Middle Road Business Department of China Investment Securities expressed that the employing unit shall pay more attention to the comprehensive quality of interviewees, including the professional quality and ways of treating people.

Until now, our university had held 18 middle-sized job fairs, including 8 middle-sized job fairs with the title of "Employment Sailing", 6 middle-sized job fairs in the regional employment market, and 4 middle-sized industry-wide job fairs, as a result, 514 employing units had participated in our job fairs; 164 special job fairs were held with the participants of Hunan ER-KANG Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Hunan MENDALE Home Textiles Co., Ltd., Sichuan Airlines Co., Ltd., etc.
