Our University Held 2017 Financial Budgeting Working Conference

On the afternoon of November 8, our university held 2017 financial budgeting working conference at meeting room 301 of Office Building 2. President Chen Xiaohong attended the conference and delivered a speech, and vice-president Wang Minggao presided over the conference. Principals of all secondary units, responsible persons for budget report, teaching unit financial work group leader and all personnel of finance department, audit division and inspection office of the discipline inspection commission attended the conference.
At the conference, vice-president Wang Minggao analyzed new situations and characteristics faced by university's current budget and emphasized the importance of budgeting and budget enforcement. He required each secondary unit to earnestly grasp new requirements and rules for 2017 budget work, conduct careful research and scientific planning, make overall arrangements, further optimize allocation of resources, improve service efficiency of capital and resources, strictly follow schedule arrangement of this conference and submit application materials of 2017 budget on schedule.
Director of finance department Wang Jianming informed basic information on university finance in 2016 and gave an explanation for principle, change in budge report and preparation, budgeting content and so forth of 2017 budgeting.
President Chen Xiaohong highly appreciated 2016 financial work in the summary speech and put forward three requirements against 2017 budget work: Firstly, further enhance budget consciousness, pay high attention to budget work, change idea, advance with the times and adapt to new changes in finance as soon as possible. Closely combine university development, give deep consideration, stress the key point, carry out scientific planning and realize effective connection between financial budget and work plan; Secondly, further increase service efficiency of the capital, practically and effectively accelerate execution of 2016 budge and complete reimbursement procedures as soon as possible. Strictly abide by rules and regulations, forbid extravagance and waste and suddenly inspect wasting money at the same time; Thirdly, actively widen open-sourcing channels, do a good job in foreign cooperative project and continuing education, strengthen contact with all sectors of society (especially schoolfellows) and win more capital and resources for our university as much as possible. Strive to realize open-sourcing and reduce expenditure, and guarantee healthy and orderly development of our university's various work.
