Our University Was Approved as Hunan Merchants Culture Research Base in the province

In recent days, Hunan Merchants Culture Research Base was approved to develop into the new Hunan Province Social Science Research Base by the superior departments. The Base was subordinate to our School of Literature and Journalism, therein, the professor Zheng Jiaming, the dean of School of Literature and Journalism, and the professor Yang Hong, the leader of our university served as the base principal and chief expert respectively.

Hunan Merchants Culture Research Base will get experts, scholars and Hunan merchants elites together for the sake of excavating, researching, developing & expanding and innovating Hunan merchants culture, creating social science "Xiangzi" brand as well as making contributions to our economic development via considering "Research Hunan Merchants, Serve Hunan Merchants and Develop Hunan Merchants" as own duty,.

It is reported that the Base is another achievement after our university has established Hunan Merchants Research Center, successfully applied for building the provincial-level Hunan Merchants Culture Research Center, as well as actively carried out industry-university-research cooperation. In such case, this Base will implement and carry out the spirits of Provincial Social Science Working Conference at length in the follow-up construction process, besides, which will also be engaged in researching and solving "development difficulty" about Hunan commerce, as well as striving to promote social science achievements which have Hunan characteristics, values and influences to promote social science theory to realize large-scale gathering towards collaborative innovation platform and characteristic & excellent disciplines, and make more contributions to Hunan merchants culture prosperity.
