The Delegation Led by Secretary Tang Yayang Coming to Xingdong Village for Investigation and Survey of Our University’s Residency Supporting in the Village

On August 26-27, the secretary of the Party Committee Tang Yayang of our university led the responsible persons of Party Committee Organization Department and Personnel Department to come to the counterparty poverty alleviation village - Xingdong Village, Tanxi Town, Xinshao County, to affectionately visit our university's cadres in the village, comfort vulnerable party members and masses, investigate the residency supporting, industry-based poverty alleviation and education poverty alleviation, as well as guide the primary-level Party organization construction.
In order to know the implementation progress of industry poverty alleviation, organizational construction, education poverty alleviation, drinking water project, comfortable housing project, etc., the secretary delegation led by Tang Yayang entered in Oujichong Selenium Enrichment Industry Base, Environmental-protection Coating Factory, Phyllostachys Pubescens (Bamboo) Processing Factory, Xingjia Village Party Branch Activity Center, Xingjia Wanquan Primary School, Running-water and Purified Water Reservoir, Laomacchong Machine Ploughing Road Construction Site, Yanling Industrial Base Site, Five Guarantees Family, First and Fourth Group Dilapidated Housing Rehabilitation Household and other places accompanied by the assistance working crew of our university in the village and "Two Committees" of Xingdong Village after arriving at Xingdong Village.
The delegation led by the secretary Tang Yayang decided to stay at Xingjia Primary School with the cadres resident in the village to better understand production and living of Party members and mass with difficulty in Xingdong Village. They called on old Party member Shi Shenwei who once participated in the war to resist U.S. aggression and aid Korea with 60-year Party standing; old Party member Tang Zhonghe who are almost 80 years old and once worked as the village secretary for 27 years in person. The old comrades were thanked for their special contribution for defending the motherland and Party primary-level organization construction. Tang Yayang also visited Party member suffering from a serious illness with exceptional poverty Shi Xiangtian, an extremely poor old man enjoying the five guarantees Li Wanlian, the person living in dangerous house Shi Shengmeng, and gave them consolation money on behalf of HNUC, and encouraged them to build confidence to overcome difficulties and repeatedly urged cadres resident in the village to well serve difficult villagers to provide "accurate service" to the needy villagers in time.
At the conference room of the residence of assistance working crew in the village of our university, the delegation led by Tang Yayang communicated sincerely with cadres resident in the village, new village cadres and original veteran cadres of Xingdong Village, representatives of Party, low income family, youth backbone and entrepreneur coming back to the village attended conference face to face, and detailedly knew about land transfer, main industry planning and demonstration, seedling breeding, farmer-worker returning to hometown, skill training, sales of agricultural and sideline products, use and management of poverty alleviation funds, environmental health management, caring and assistance for stay-at-home children, main difficulties after village combination, etc.
After field investigation, home-entry visiting, collective discussion and listening to the working report of our assistance working crew, Tang Yayang highly appreciated the achievements of residency supporting and poverty alleviation works of our university. He put forward four requirements about the follow-up works: Firstly, build a "working crew never leaving" for Xingdong Village by virtue of "strengthening branch, grasping backbone, building group and forming model"; Secondly, persist in strengthening "hemopoiesis" function for low income family getting rid of poverty and becoming better off based on combining prompting ambition, promoting skill, promoting wisdom and "blood transfusion"; Thirdly, fulfill the "innovation, coordination, green, openness and sharing" new development concept all the time, avoid seeking quick success and instant benefits, going in for grandiose projects, as well as sacrificing favorable ecological environment to exchange short-term economic profits; Finally, further compact features and experience, highlight poverty relief features of colleges and universities, emphatically grasp educational poverty alleviation, industrial poverty alleviation.
After completing all investigations and survey to Xingdong Village, Tang Yayang came to Shaoyang City to visit the schoolfellow representatives and sincerely welcome them to visit Xingdong Village and alma mater often. (Zhou Junjun, Wang Bolin and Liao Xiaoqing)
