Our School Held 13th Five-Year Subplan Debriefing Meeting

On the morning of June 27th, our university held the 13th Five-Year Subplan Debriefing Meeting in conference room 401 of the second office building. Party Secretary of our school Tang Yayang and the vice president Li Dingjun attended the meeting. People in charge of various functional units and deans of various secondary departments participated the meeting too. And the meeting was hosted by the vice president Li Dingjun.

In the meeting, 18 directors of secondary departments briefed the development goals, the overall thoughts, the constructive measures as well as the existing problems and difficulties in the course of the 13th Five-Year.

In the end, Tang Yayang, in his conclusive speech, gave a full affirmation over  the secondary departments for their importance attached to the Five-Year Subplan. The arrangement plan of some colleges had clear goals, clarified missions, effective measures as well as strong viability. However, the plan of some other departments needs a further perfection and elaboration. Regarding the further revision of the subplans, Tang Yayang proposed five hopes. Firstly, concentrate on the distinctive characteristics. We should achieve the goal “to be unique and superior”. Secondly, we should adhere to the synergy plan, which will enable us to associate the strategic development goals of the nation and Hunan Province with the overall development thoughts of our own school. Thirdly, we should stick to the scientific demonstration. We should work in a detailed and concrete manner through strict measurement and comparison horizontally and longitudinally. Fourthly, we should ensure the achievement of development goals through effective measures and the breakthrough of key indexes.
