China Anti-corruption Seminar Ties Knot with HNUC

On March 22nd, General Huang Zushi, the consultant of China Anti-corruption Seminar, Mr. XuShaoyun and Mr. Fu Xuejian, honorary chairmen of the seminar, and Mr. Ge Hongyuan, chairman of the Seminar and vice chairman of Hunan CPPCC were present in our school for the discussing the issue of docking and mutually developing the Seminar and our school. Party Secretary Wang Hanqing, president Chen Xiaohong and other Party Committee members attended this meeting.

Mr. Fu Xuejian, honorary chairmen of the seminar, affectionately reviewed the past development of the Seminar, emphasized the significance of studying and upholding the core value of the Chinese anti-corruption culture, and said that the seminar has gained social praise and recognition thanks to its practice in and insistence on anti-corruption culture. Mr. Fu stressed that it is the needs for cultural inheritance, common development, and the joint cultivation of talents that linkthe seminar and Hunan University of Commerce together; it is of great importance to run the seminar well on the new platform for advocating the Chinese anti-corruption culture and facilitate the Party building in full swing.
Mr. XuShaoyun highly commended the changes the university has made, talked about his affection with the two institutions, and made an analysis on the significant roles of anti-corruption building and anti-corruption culture from politics, economy and academic studies. Then, Mr. Xu expressed his wish for the university to run the seminar well.
General Huang Zushi was on his tiptoe of expectation for docking. He said that, after the docking, it was hoped that the two institutions could play a more positive role in the anti-corruption disciplinary building, talent cultivation and social services.
Mr. GeHongyuan pointed out that this docking is a key turning point for the seminar in realizing its innovation development with the good timing, geographical convenience and good human relations. Referring to the good timing, Mr. Ge said, since the 18th CPC National Congress, the Party has gained great achievements in anti-corruption building and the related works, and the joint building of anti-corruption seminar is quite catering to the CPC guideline of strengthening the new think tank building with Chinese characteristics. From the perspective of the geographical convenience, Hunan University of Commerce is the only university in the province that has a high-standard collaborative innovation center of anti-corruption with a research team consisting of excellent and experienced experts. As for the good human relations, the Party committee and administration departments of the university all have attached great importance to and given strong support to the anti-corruption building. Therefore, Ge believed and expected that China Anti-corruption Seminar would have a brighter future with the care and support from the university.

Party Secretary Wang Hanqing and president Chen Xiaohong, on behalf of the school, expressed our gratitude to these leaders for their long care and support to the school and our determination in supporting all causes development of the seminar, including the magazine “Qingfeng”. Members of our school Party Committee reached an agreement in the attitudes toward this docking. The school will play our active role and stick to collaborative innovation with our disciplinary advantages in order to publicize the anti-corruption culture as well as make a good of inheriting and developing the seminar.
