Professor Chen Xiaohong and Her Team Were Invited to Visit National University of Defense Technology for Exchanging and Communication

Invited by general Tan Yuejin, the PhD tutor of College of Information System & Managemen, National University of Defense Technology (UNDT ), and senior colonel Wu Fanjiang, the political commissar, President Chen Xiaohong led 30 members from the research group of mobile business intelligence of Hunan Key Laboratory and visited UNDT in the afternoon of May 30th.

The group firstly visited the Big Data & Social Computing Engineering Center for research, learned the technologies and applications on text data processing, financial knowledge modeling and reasoning, the public opinion monitoring of listing Corporation and industry data analysis and other aspects.  　　

And then, the group visited the Center for Computational Experiments & Parallel Management, listened to the analysis on open source big data intelligence, the research work and the research progress of the anti-terrorism and the human body big data modeling.

Finally, the group visited the big data display studio, understood leading edge research achievements of National University of Defense Technology in the field of Aeronautics and Astronautics, at the same time, listened the report about medical big data research based on wearable devices, tracing system for commodities, and the latest research results and research progress of other aspects.

Professor Chen’s group had full access to the development of large data technology and cutting-edge technology through careful field visits, discussion and communication, further clarified the goals and tasks of the construction of large data research platform, which can provide lots of valuable reference indicators for the construction of the our school’s Provincial Key Laboratory of mobile business intelligence, and the construction of our Big Data & Internet Innovation Research Institute.
