On the afternoon of November 26, the Signing and Unveiling Ceremony of the Digital & Intelligent Technology Application Innovation Research Institute, co-founded by Xiangjiang Laboratory and Hunan Congmao Technology Co., Ltd., was held at the Zhiyuan Lecture Hall on the 6th floor of Xiangjiang Building. Chen Xiaohong, Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Director of Xiangjiang Laboratory; Xiao Qi, Chairman and General Manager of Hunan Congmao Technology Co., Ltd.; Liu Guoquan, Executive Deputy Director of Xiangjiang Laboratory; Hu Chunhua, Deputy Director of Xiangjiang Laboratory; and Ma Shuaipeng, Deputy General Manager of Hunan Congmao Technology Co., Ltd., attended the ceremony. Relevant department heads from Xiangjiang Laboratory and Hunan Congmao Technology Co., Ltd. were also present. The ceremony was hosted by Deputy Director Hu Chunhua.

Academician Chen Xiaohong delivered a speech at the event and extended warm congratulations on the establishment of the Innovation Research Institute. She stated that Xiangjiang Laboratory, with a focus on artificial intelligence and advanced computing, is the first provincial laboratory among Hunan's four major laboratories to be inaugurated, put into operation as an entity at the earliest date, and approved for a postdoctoral research workstation. It has been selected as a Philosophy and Social Sciences Laboratory of the Ministry of Education, a national-level major innovation platform, a batch of Hunan's first "AI +" innovative platforms, and a batch of Hunan's first intellectual property centers for scientific research institutions. Since its establishment, the laboratory has assembled a high-level research team, continued to focus on the "integration of computing power, algorithm, computing basis and computing network", established in-depth cooperative relations with well-known scientific research platforms, and co-founded nearly 30 innovation research institutes with leading enterprises such as Huawei, Baidu and H3C. It has released 26 innovative products to the public, filed more than 340 national invention patents as the sole applicant and the first applicant, and obtained authorization for over 200 of them. Congmao Technology has profound industry insights and rich application scenarios in the digital and intelligent service field, forming a complementary advantage of "technology leadership + scenario-driven traction" with Xiangjiang Laboratory, which is conducive to achieving the deep coupling of the innovation chain and the industrial chain. She hoped that both parties would jointly tackle key problems in critical directions and make greater contributions to building Hunan into a strong province in the digital economy and constructing a nationally leading digital and intelligent service system.

In his speech, Chairman Xiao Qi stated that Hunan Congmao Technology Co., Ltd. is a technology service provider driven by AI, which delivers digital and intelligent solutions for vertical scenarios to empower clients, reduce costs and enhance efficiency. As a national high-tech enterprise, a Hunan provincial specialized, sophisticated, distinctive and innovative SME, a Hunan provincial enterprise technology center, and a Changsha gazelle enterprise, it has been ranked among the top 10 growing internet enterprises in Hunan for three consecutive years, setting an example for college students' entrepreneurship in the province. He expressed the hope to deepen the cooperative relationship with Xiangjiang Laboratory, leverage the respective advantages of both parties to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results, rely on the solid digital and intelligent technological strength of Xiangjiang Laboratory to further expand and strengthen Congmao Technology, and jointly promote the higher-quality development of the economy and society.

Witnessed jointly by the attending leaders, the signing and unveiling ceremony of the co-founded Innovation Research Institute was held at the event, and warm applause erupted on the scene. Both parties will focus on the goals of key technological innovation and industrialization, promote the construction of the Innovation Research Institute as well as the industrialization of research achievements and talent cultivation, create benchmark application scenarios for digital and intelligent services with demonstration effects, develop replicable and promotable technological solutions and practical cases, empower the high-quality development of economy and society with digital and intelligent technologies, and make greater contributions to the realization of Hunan's grand blueprint of "Three Highlands, Four New Missions".

After the ceremony, the participants held in-depth discussions on the specific matters concerning the cooperation.
