Speaker’s Profile:
Xiong Xiong, a professor, doctoral supervisor and deputy director of the College of Management and Economics, Tianjin University, mainly engaged in the research of big data finance, computational experimental finance, enterprise development and financial strategy, etc., and editor of Journal of Management Science and reviewer of many high-level academic journals; he has published more than 80 academic papers and 2 monographs in high-level academic journals at home and abroad. So far, he has presided over more than 10 national, provincial and ministerial projects such as the ones of National Natural Science Foundation of China, managed and completed the key project of National Natural Science Foundation of China "Financial Innovation Based on Big Data and Its Risk Analysis Theory", and won the academic awards at or above the provincial or ministerial level for 3 times. In 2007, he was listed in the "New Century Excellent Talents Support Plan" of the Ministry of Education. In 2010, he won the Tianjin Youth Science and Technology Award.
He serves as Deputy Secretary-General of Systems Engineering Society of China, Director of Financial Systems Engineering Committee and Deputy Director of Youth Work Committee, Vice Chairman of Quantitative Finance and Insurance Branch of Chinese Society of Optimization, Overall Planning and Economical Mathematics, and Vice Chairman of Decision Branch of Operations Research Society of China.
