As the Spring Festival approaches, in accordance with the unified deployment and arrangements of the Talent Work Leading Group of Hunan Provincial CPC Committee, on the morning of January 31, Mao Wanchun, Chairman of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, visited HUTB. He visited and extended greetings to Chen Xiaohong, CAE Academician, Director of the Xiangjiang Laboratory, and Secretary of CPC HUTB Committee, sending her Lunar New Year blessings.

At HUTB, Mao Wanchun and his delegation visited and extended their greetings to Academician Chen Xiaohong. They conveyed Lunar New Year blessings to her and had a detailed understanding of the progress of the Xiangjiang Laboratory. Academician Chen Xiaohong has always pursued being a practical scholar, conducting research that is grounded in reality. She is dedicated to cultivating innovative talents who possess both competence and moral integrity and have a global perspective. Currently, the Xiangjiang Laboratory has established a research team with over 500 members, combining both full-time and part-time researchers. This team includes 40 CAS and CAE academicians. The laboratory has implemented more than 40 major key scientific and technological projects, achieving industrial applications and tangible results in areas such as intelligent manufacturing, smart transportation and logistics, scientific supervision, and social governance.

Mao Wanchun expressed his gratitude to Academician Chen Xiaohong and her team for their positive contributions to the high-quality development of Hunan. He hopes that Academician Chen Xiaohong will lead her team to further promote the transformation and application of their achievements, advance the digital intelligence industry to a new level, and make new and greater contributions to the realization of the "Three Highlands, Four New Missions" blueprint and the construction of a socialist modernized new Hunan. He also looks forward to Academician Chen Xiaohong, who is also a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, actively providing suggestions and advice on key reform and development work in Hunan and striving for more support.
