On the morning of April 13, with strong support and guidance from the Office of the Coordination Mechanism for Supporting College Student Entrepreneurship in Hunan Province and the Hunan Productivity Promotion Center, the 2026 Hunan College Student Entrepreneurship Consulting Event, organized by the HUTB School of Digital Intelligence Innovation and Entrepreneurship, was held at the Smart Innovation Space of the Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Creation Park on Lingnan Campus. The event brought in on-campus and off-campus practical entrepreneurship mentors to provide face-to-face, targeted guidance to selected operational startup projects at the university.

The event adopted a rotational one-on-one consulting model. Based on the specific needs of the projects, four specialized consulting rooms were set up, covering technical compliance, business operations and market strategy, team building and organizational management, as well as campus incubation and policy. Three senior industry mentors from off-campus—specializing in the digital industry, corporate operations, and park incubation—collaborated with on-campus entrepreneurship advisors to “diagnose” issues on the spot. They focused on critical challenges such as technological barriers, business models, organizational structures, and campus entrepreneurship policies, conducting in-depth analysis and providing tailored solutions for each project.

Consultations proceeded in depth and an orderly manner. Each startup team detailed their project progress and current challenges. Drawing on industry expertise and real-world case studies, the mentors offered targeted advice on product positioning, market expansion, resource linkage, and risk mitigation. Participating students described the process as pragmatic and highly efficient. They noted that the experts’ guidance not only helped clarify their development roadmap but also provided substantial support in practical areas such as resource connections.

The event advanced regular initiatives including the Entrepreneurship Clinic and Entrepreneurship Accompaniment Program, and refined the university’s full-chain entrepreneurship guidance system. Moving forward, the School of Digital Intelligence Innovation and Entrepreneurship will further pool on-campus and off-campus resources to regularize and refine entrepreneurship guidance services, deeply empowering young students in their innovation and entrepreneurship endeavors. The online platform of the Xiangchuang Assistance Group under Hunan Daily will also provide simultaneous follow-up entrepreneurship consulting support.
