Green fields ignite dreams, and passion fuels youth. From April 11 to May 17, the HUTB Spring-Summer Sports Season Student Football Tournament unfolded at both the South and North Campuses. Following nearly a month of fierce competition, the School of Sports and Health and the School of Microelectronics and Physics delivered stellar performances to share the men’s championship title. Meanwhile, the School of Sports and Health and the School of Economy & Trade jointly claimed the women’s championship honors.

The tournament was hosted by the HUTB Sports and Health Promotion Committee, organized by the School of Sports and Health in collaboration with the HUTB Committee of the CYLC, with support from the Student Football Association. The tournament featured men’s and women’s divisions, drawing 22 teams and nearly 500 athletes from across the university. In the men’s division, 15 teams battled through a single round-robin group stage followed by a single-elimination knockout stage to advance. The women’s division saw 7 teams compete in a single round-robin format, where cumulative points determined the final rankings, testing each team’s consistency and endurance.

Every precise pass and powerful strike on the pitch embodied youthful energy and passion. The tournament not only enriched campus sports culture but also provided a vibrant platform for students to build friendships through football and strengthen their fitness, fully reflecting the university’s commitment to “sports-based education.”
