Speaker’s Profile:
Zhang Yuejun, a Ph.D. in Management from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, is a secondary professor and doctoral supervisor at Hunan University. He serves as the vice dean of the Business School at Hunan University, as well as the director of the Center for Resource and Environmental Management at Hunan University. Additionally, he is a specially-appointed Chang Jiang Scholar Professor by the Ministry of Education. He has engaged mainly in research areas such as petroleum asset pricing and forecasting, performance evaluation of energy and environmental policies, carbon trading, and carbon emission reduction mechanisms. He has already presided over more than 10 projects, including the Excellent Young Scientists Fund and Key Program under the National Natural Science Foundation, as well as the Major Program and Key Program under the National Social Science Fund. As the first author or corresponding author, he has published more than 160 papers in authoritative domestic and international academic journals. He has also authored five monographs and led the formulation of over 20 policy reports, which have been adopted by relevant national departments. Several reports have received important instructions from leaders of the Party and the country. The first completed research work has won two second prizes of the Natural Science Award from the Ministry of Education, a second prize of the Humanities and Social Science Award from the Ministry of Education, and a first prize of the Outstanding Social Science Achievement Award from Hunan Province. For many consecutive years, he has been selected as a "Highly Cited Researcher" by Clarivate, a "Highly Cited Chinese Scholar" by Elsevier, and one of the "World's Top 2% Scientists" by Stanford University.
