HUTB Achieves Good Results in Hunan Province University Students Tennis Competition

On November 23, the 2023 Hunan Province University Students Tennis Competition concluded. Under the guidance of Li Dongqi, Wang Yin, and Zeng Tongyi, teachers from the School of Sports and Health, HUTB's student tennis team achieved outstanding results, winning 5 gold medals, 4 silver medals, 5 bronze medals, and finishing in fifth place in 4 events. They also secured the first place in the overall team score, marking the fourth consecutive year that they have won the first place in the team score in this competition.

Nearly 300 athletes from 25 universities, including Central South University, Hunan University, Hunan Normal University, and Hunan University of Science and Technology, participated in this competition. After four days of fierce competition, HUTB's athletes fought hard and achieved excellent results in all 14 events.

The outstanding achievement of HUTB's student tennis team is another result of its "Sports HUTB" campaign. It is inseparable from the attention and support from HUTB, as well as the hard work and efforts of the coaching team and all the athletes. In the next step, HUTB's student tennis team will continue to carry forward the spirit of "working hard without regrets and fighting without reservation".
