HUTB Holds 26th College Student Table Tennis Tournament

Recently, the university's 2024 Sports Festival and the 26th College Student Table Tennis Tournament concluded at the Feiwu Stadium in the North Campus.

The competition was organized by the HUTB Sports and Health Promotion Committee and hosted by the School of Sports and Health. It featured five events: men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles. Nearly a hundred table tennis enthusiasts from across the university participated in the matches.

During the competition, cheers from various schools rose and fell. After a intense knockout round, Liu Jiaxin from the School of Economics & Trade won the men's singles title with his agile footwork and precise smashes, while Yu Lanyan from the School of Science clinched the women's singles title with her delicate touch and steady defensive strategy. The women's doubles championship was won by Tang Yanjiao and Dong Xinyi from the School of Science, thanks to their seamless coordination and aggressive play. The men's doubles title went to Li You and Xiao Linhui from the School of Law & Public Administration, who secured victory with their close tactical cooperation. He Yanyu and Song Fu from the School of Public Administration and Human Geography triumphed in the mixed doubles, defeating their opponents to claim the title.

This competition was not just a stage for athletic prowess; it also served as a bridge connecting the wisdom and enthusiasm of different academic disciplines.
