HUTB Successfully Completes Organization for Preliminary Examination of 2025 National Entrance Exams for Postgraduate Studies

The preliminary examination of the 2025 National Entrance Exams for Postgraduate Studies was conducted at our university from December 21 to 22, 2024. Our university successfully completed the organization work. As one of the examination centers in Hunan, our university set up 54 examination rooms in the Zhicheng Building on the south campus. A total of 1606 candidates participated in the examination.
During the examination, Wang Renxiang, Deputy Director of the Department of Education of Hunan Province, and leaders from the Hunan Provincial Education Examination Authority, led a team to inspect the examination sites at our university. They carefully examined the implementation of various tasks, including examination venue safety, examination discipline, and candidate services. They spoke highly of our university’s examination organization work and put forward work requirements. The inspection was accompanied by Liao Xiangyue, Deputy Secretary of CPC HUTB Committee and President of HUTB, Zhang Ling, Vice President of HUTB, and the heads of the relevant functional departments.
The university strengthened the unified management of mobile phones before the examination. Intelligent security gates were installed at the entrances of the examination sites to conduct strict inspections of electronic devices. Additionally, a "mobile phone storage site" was set up outside the buildings for candidates to store their mobile phones and other electronic devices. Candidates strictly followed the examination rules and lined up in an orderly manner to enter the examination sites. The examination sites were well-organized with candidates showing good discipline and a composed mindset.
Under the strong leadership and high attention of the CPC HUTB Committee, the university made early plans and carefully arranged the examination. It organized and held examination invigilation meetings and exam administration training sessions, established a graduate exam working group, and formed various teams including the exam administration team, exam paper confidentiality team, examination hall team, backup team, supervision team, publicity team, entrance management and security team, video surveillance and network team, equipment support team, logistical support team, health prevention team, and teams from each secondary school. The university's examination organization work was carried out strictly following the requirements of the 2025 provincial entrance exams for postgraduate studies, effectively promoting the scientific, standardized, refined, and procedural management of the graduate exam. This ensured the achievement of the "four guarantees and one realization" and the goal of a safe graduate examination. All examination staff members remained vigilant and fulfilled their responsibilities, while participating units cooperated closely to ensure the smooth completion of this year's preliminary examination.
