School of Law & Public Administration Popularizes the Law in the Countryside

On the afternoon of November 9, in order to thoroughly study, publicize and implement Xi Jinping's ruling-by-law thought and assist the implementation of rural revitalization strategy, the teachers and students were organized by the School of Law & Public Administration to attend the launching ceremony of "Popularizing Law in the Countryside" and the activity of "Sending Law to Household" sponsored by Justice Department of Hunan Province and the Department of Emergency Management of Hunan Province in the Lianhuashan Village, Pingtang Street, Changsha City. This event was led by the teachers Wen Zhang and Yan Xichen of School of Law & Public Administration, and attended by members of StudentParty Branch, Civilization Literacy Team and the Recitation Team of Starlight Art Troupe.

 


During the event, the students from the School of Law & Public Administration performed the ruling-by-law publicity programs in the form of recitation of which the program Lightwarns everyone with the case of explosion of battery car due to illegal charging that we shall be knowledgeable of the necessary common sense of laws and regulations and the illegal risks, and strictly abide by the laws and regulations in such a manner as to keep the safety of our lives and property and prevent the unnecessary pain and consequences; with the financial fraud case that we shall remain cautious against the money transactions, improve the legal awareness, abide by the law in every aspect, sign the formal contracts, and keep the transfer evidences. Meanwhile, the students reminded everyone not to believe in the good things that fall from the sky. The promise of high return often represents a huge trap, and they shall not violate the law and intentionally or unintentionally put the trap at the feet of others. Students publicized the knowledge of ruling by law in the form of stories, and advocated complying with laws and regulations in an impassioned tone, shining the brightest light of HUTB students.

 


In addition, the students from the School of Law & Public Administration also actively participated in the game of "integrating into the ruling-by-law circle" and the interaction with villagers. Interacting activities such as legal answers and prize-winning loop were set in the game to attract the participants to actively integrate into roles and games, so as to achieve the purpose of learning law and entertaining. Meanwhile, the knowledge of laws and regulations can be better and more widely popularized to encourage the enthusiasm and motivation of the people to voluntarily respect, learn, abide by and use the law, thus providing more ways and possibilities for the construction of a society ruled by law.

 

In this event, the students from the School of Law & Public Administration were praised in terms of civilized etiquette by the organizers and villagers in Lianhuashan, indicating the youthful style and civilization of HUTB students.
