Beijin College Holds Large-scale On-campus Job Fair for 2021 Graduates

On December 1, Beijin College held a large-scale on-campus job fair for 2021 graduates at the Sports Ground of North Campus, in a bid to ensure higher-quality and better employment for its graduates. This job fair attracted the participation of about more than a thousand graduates from Beijin College and other schools of HUTB as well as nearly 160 companies including Yurun Group, Guangzhou Times Holdings Group Co., Ltd., and Hunan Chayue Catering Management Co., Ltd. These companies provided more than 11,000 jobs in total.


Mo Xiangyi, Dean of Beijin College, Chen Weidong, Party Secretary of Beijin College, and other leaders visited came to the job fair. They greeted the leaders of the participating companies and understood their development plans and talent needs. In the meanwhile, the heads of Beijin College cordially talked with the graduates on the site about their career choices and ideals and encouraged the students to take the initiative to find their desired jobs as soon as possible.
This job fair was crowded with people. Besides seniors, many lower-grade students also came to the site. Zhong Zhenkun, an accounting graduate of Beijin College, said, “These employers all emphasize work experience and social practice. So, in the lower grades, students should consolidate their professional knowledge and exercise their practical skills.” The graduates of Beijin College were well received in the job fair. The leader of Changsha Properties Co., Ltd of Greenland Group attending this job fair noted, “The sales position requires stronger abilities of communication and expression.” The leader of Changsha Chia Tai Co., Ltd. suggested that graduates should carefully prepare their resumes before attending job fairs, added that students should express themselves logically during interviews.
Beijin College highly values graduates’ employment. Since October 2020, it has organized over 50 special job fairs and 5 medium-sized job fairs for 2021 graduates, with a total of more than 240 companies providing more than 18,000 jobs. It also organized graduates to attend various large and medium-sized on-site job fairs off the campus and offered comprehensive and full-process services to ensure graduates’ full employment. While organizing orderly recruitment activities, Beijin College also formulated the Epidemic Prevention and Control Planin accordance with the anti-epidemic requirements. The college carried out epidemic prevention and control work, strengthened traffic management during job fairs, and adopted time-based staggered traffic restriction measures. By doing so, Beijin College has well advanced the work of graduate employment as well as epidemic prevention and control.
