School of Economy & Trade Holds 151st “Lushan Alumni and Entrepreneur Forum”

On the evening of November 29, the School of Economy & Trade held the 151st“Lushan Alumni and Entrepreneur Forum” in the Lecture Hall A309 of the No.1Teaching Building. The subject of this lecture was “How to Live Four-year University Life from Perspective of Alumni Development”, and the speaker is Li Bangfu, an alumnus of HUTB. The lecture was presided over by Pan Kexin, a teacher of the School of Economy & Trade and attended by the representatives of freshman to junior students.
Alumni Li Bangfu is a senior legal expert in finance. He serves as Discipline Inspector of Caixin Securities Co., Ltd and concurrently as Secretary-General of the Alumni Association of the School of Economy & Trade of HUTB and Secretary-General of Educational Fund of Liu Siwei. By reviewing the establishment of the School’s Alumni Association in 2018, Li Bangfu explained to the students the current situation and significance of alumni and the alumni association's work. He also talked about how he felt when joining the Alumni Association. In the commemoration of HUTB’s 70th anniversary, the Alumni Associations of all schools played an important role. He also emphasized that HUTB’s development and alumni work should promote each other for common progress. Finally, Li Bangfu told the students that opening up a new situation for HUTB’s development requires the joint efforts of all sides. He said that Hunan University of Technology and Business has excellent alumni distributed among all walks of life and at all levels. He urged that the students should have a certain sense of alumni loyalty to advance together with the university.
In the lecture, the students listened carefully, interacted actively, and responded warmly. They expressed that they have benefited a lot. The Alumni Entrepreneur Series Lectures aim to instruct students to learn and master the latest knowledge and enhance their awareness of professionalism and professional abilities. In this way, these lectures can further cultivate students' comprehensive quality.
