School of Law & Public Administration Holds Mobilization and Experience Sharing Meeting for “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition

On July 14, the School of Law & Public Administration held an online Mobilization and Experience Sharing Meeting for the “Internet+” College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. This meeting was attended by Dean Liu Qixiang, Vice Dean Gong Zhijun, Vice Dean Luo Huping, Deputy Party Secretary Yuan Lu, as well as the faculty and over 100 potential contestants from the School of Law & Public Administration. It was presided over by Deputy Secretary Yuan Lu.
The meeting included two parts: mobilization and experience sharing. In the mobilization part, Deputy Dean Luo Huping introduced the themes, fields, tracks, and other basic information of the “Internet plus” College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition; he also organized the faculty and students to study the Administrative Measures of Hunan University of Technology and Business on Cultivation and Reward for Projects of National “Internet+” College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. He mainly talked about HUTB’s great importance attached to the competition and the key goal of building the world-leading university and disciplines, urging the faculty and students to strive for excellent performance in this competition.
In the experience sharing part, Zheng Junfeng from Class 1602 of Economics and Trade shared his successful experience in previous competitions and encouraged students to actively take part in the competition for self exercises. Basing on the guidance experience for previous competitions, Ms. Xiang Xiuying, a teacher from the School of Law & Public Administration, analyzed in detail the composition of proposals and the precautions in roadshows. Mr. Long Pu, another teacher from the School of Law & Public Administration, introduced the competition tracks and gave some guidance experience. In the meantime, he hoped that every contestant can actively participate in the competition with perseverance and confidence. Deputy Dean Luo Huping noted, “College students are the most energetic and studenthood is the best time to struggle. Students must dare to try and leave a wonderful mark in youth in this best era.
Finally, Dean Liu Qixiang emphasized that the “Internet+” College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition not only serves as an extended second classroom for students but also an important platform for the cultivation of innovative talents. He hoped that the faculty and students can think out of the box, cultivate innovative thinking, and stimulate creativity, to strive for new breakthroughs. In the meantime, he also wished the contestants success in the 2020 “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.
