Online Employment Guidance Lecture Jointly Organized by HUTB and Hubei University of Commerce and Trade

In order to implement the requirements stipulated in the Notice onImplementing Graduates Employment and EntrepreneurshipOne Helps OneAction between the Universities in the Whole Country andin HubeiProvinceissued by theGeneral Office of Ministry of Education, and make solid progress in implementing the “one helps one” action betweenour universityand Hubei University of Commerce and Trade, HUTB specially invitedwell-known enterprise executives and career guidance experts to give on-line employment guidance lectures to the graduates and employment consultants of the two universities.

The first lecture was held on the afternoon of May 29. Mr. Jiang Jun, a senior human resources manager with 20 years of human resources management work experience including 5 years of enterprise human resources management and consultancy experienceand8 years of enterprise university preparation and management operation experience, a member of the Professional Group of International Career Development Association,and TOC bottleneck breakthrough consultant, was invited to give an online employment guidance lecture entitled “adequate interview preparation and interview exercise, online interview preparation and exercise” to help the graduates to learn interview skills and increase interview success rate from the perspective of enterprise talent selection.

The second lecture was held on the afternoon of May 30. Ms. Liu Linlin, vice director of Rennengda Career Research Institute (a well-known college studentsvocational education institution), and R&D director of Beijing RennengdaEducation Technology Co., Ltd., was invited to give an employment guidance lecture on the theme of “resume writing and revision tactics” to the employment consultants of the two universities, so as to provide the teachers with advice on how to guidethe graduatesto make perfect resumesfrom the professionalperspective.

The lectures were very popular. The teachers and students of the two universities were enthusiastic in the participation. 1,000-oddgraduates and 100-oddteachers listened carefully to the employment guidance lectures online. On the messages, the teachers and students gave lots of “thumbs-up”forthe two lectures and expressed their gratitude to the two universities for their promoting early employment and better employment of the graduates of the two universititiesthrough resource sharing and effective cooperation.

It is reported that the “one helps one” action betweentwo universities will continue until September 30 this year. The two sides will set up a mutual aid mechanism on sharing job information, jointly exploiting employment channels, jointly strengthening employment guidance, sharing high-quality teaching resources, jointly carrying out entrepreneurship practicalactivitiesand jointly improving management level, for the purpose of promoting full and high-quality employment of the 2020 graduates of the two universities.
