2019-07-31
Recently, under the guidance of Teachers of Chen Haijun, Li Zhilong and Zhang Qing et al., "Jinying practice team" formed by students from School of Literature and Journalism and other schools, went to Dabo Village, Fukou Town, Lianyuan City to carry out the summer social field survey. This social survey aims to explore the featured tourism development mode of prunus serrulata in Dabo Village, Fukou Town, Lianyuan City from the perspective of cultural creativity.

The team members first discussed with local government officials and tourism companies to further understand the overall situation of tourism development in Dabo Village and Lianyuan City. Wang Peiliang, Deputy Mayor of Lianyuan City, praised the social practice activities of Volunteer Activities for the Country People during the summer vacation. He believed that this was a new exploration combining the social practice of university students with the rural revitalization policy. He also hoped that students could give suggestions for the tourism development in Dabo Village and even the whole city from the perspective of overall development, and that students could improve the practical ability in this activity.
Through the interview with villagers, it is found that Dabo Village is located in the remote mountainous area, with backward economy and many left-behind elderly. Due to the support of government policies, the infrastructure has been gradually improved in recent years. With the efforts of all parties, Dabo Village has embarked on the path of eco-tourism development from a poor village. The villagers strongly support and look forward to tourism development, hoping that it can bring new opportunities to the local economy and social people's livelihood. The students were also invited by villagers to experience the local featured tea production process, and participated in the night leisure performance with the square dancing aunt team and the traditional instruments orchestra, deeply feeling the simple, kind and hospitable folk customs of Dabo Village.
This social practice activity can not only promote students to focus on economic and social development issues and serve local development, but also exercise students' volitional quality, which transforms the knowledge into practical experience. (Xiao Shenyu and Liang Hui)
