School of Literature and Journalism Held ”Advertising Education Alliance” Teaching Seminar

On November 12, Hunan University of Commerce, Hengyang Normal University and Hunan Institute of Science and Technology organized and held the 4th "Advertising Education Alliance" Teaching Seminar at Room 502, Office Building 2 of HNUC. Guests included CNAD human resources general manager Tang Hong; expert teachers Pan Huangmin, Wen Xinhua, Tan Jianping of Chinamcloud.com education training lecturers and so on. At the seminar, advertising media course teaching, industry development and employment and training of advertising specialty students, etc. were discussed. The seminar was presided over by the teacher of HNUC He Guzhi.
Chinamcloud.com education training lecturer Pan Huangmin gave a detailed introduction concerning technology and business accumulation at the media fusion era taking the wonderful lecture of "current situation and future development tendency of cloud non-linear editing” as the theme and emphatically talked about overall understanding of Chinamcloud.com with respect to project and construction thoughts of fusion media cloud platform, including seamless fusion of various campus media businesses, new fusion medial operation and practice system and building fusion media cloud laboratory to coordinate teaching.
During teaching research of Research on Advertising Media course, teachers from the above three universities carried out communication and discussion by combining their teaching experience. Teacher Wen Xinhua emphatically talked about increasingly powerful influence of we-media based on entry point of "Trump's victory is we-media victory". She thought that traditional media theory was the highlight even under the turbulent new media environment, and it's necessary to bring in new media theory, but it's a must to learn holding up and fusion, daring to discuss and having the courage to bring forth new ideas.
Teacher Tan Pingjian introduced five methods, two suggestions and one thought by combining method and thought regarding his own course teaching for bringing in creative marketing idea and creative thinking course, emphasizing media creativity development direction. He said that it's necessary to pay attention to industry practice and not ignoring training for students' specialized knowledge and innovative thinking. Meanwhile, he put forward the thought of "advertising media strategy would be updated to transmission platform strategy".
Tang Hong pointed out a severe development situation of mass media such as advertising by virtue of vivid metaphor - "I think about how hard do animals try to hunt in order to be full every time when I watch Animal World, which is similar to what can advertising and newspaper industries do to continuously and better develop and not let employees starve under the impact of new media" in his speech of Employment Training for Advertising Specialty Students of Colleges and Universities and Introduction for Methods of University-industry Cooperation. When talking about employment of students from the above three universities, he put forward the opinion that personal ability and social knowledge were more important than diploma based on experience in recruitment for many years in the industry. Meanwhile, teachers from the above three universities made a heated discussion with general manager Tang. Senior executives from featured advertising company may be selected to attend and inspect thesis defense by advertising specialty students from the above three universities, and excellent students having ideas would be chosen to enter the company for training with recommended employment in excellent advertising company.
