School of Computer Science & Information Technology Fully Started Construction of Electronic Information Innovation Base

Our university students participated in Provincial College Student Electronic Contest during summer vacation, and won the first, second and third prize with the number and grade of such awards hitting a historical high of our university. Our School started the construction of long-acting mechanism as soon as the beginning of the new semester and now various work of electronic information innovation center has officially started. At present, the first base owns 45 students, 6 teachers as well as 2 laboratories which are divided into 10 training teams consisting of junior students and sophomore students and the freshman training team constituted by 19 freshmen.
Based on wide publicity and initiation, there were 112 students in the university actively registering for base training. After strict inspection screening, the first batch of 45 members with a strong interest, active attitude and strong will and excellent capacity were finally chosen on the evening of October 14 due to their works and outstanding performance. In the course of this selection, everyone was required to form a design and production title for election, search data, purchase tools and devices by themselves, conduct self-learning and complete it by themselves. Freshmen's performance was very excellent and they still faced the difficulty and overcame various difficulties under the situation of no any foundation or experience, which showed their sufficient ability, quality and potential. Most of freshmen thought that they really touched their profession, knew about their profession, loved their profession and benefited a lot by this selection training.
On the evening of October 15, the base training was officially declared to start at classroom F103, and the deployment and arrangement for the base construction were done and strict specific requirements for members were put forward. On that evening, professor Wu Xinkai- expert in intelligent introduction from our university, gave a lecture about "innovation, quality, ability and training" to members, put forward ardent hope and gave specific guide to members at the same time.
This innovation base was aimed at training students' operational ability, promoting climate for leaning, improving teaching quality, intended to take project training as drive, treat ability training as target, regard research learning as subject and strived to seek breakthrough of creative education.
