Professor Liu Siwei Gave a Theme Lecture about ”OEM Powerful Nation Changing into Brand Powerful Nation”

On the evening of October 11, professor Liu Siwei-first-grade honorary professor and dean of School of Economics and Trade gave a theme lecture of "OEM powerful nation changing into brand powerful nation" at F201 of Lezhi building. Students of School of Economics and Trade listened to the lecture.
Professor Liu firstly simply and incisively did up and summarized the fundamental realities of current brand development of China, and pointed out that in case that China could realize the transformation from OEM powerful nation to self-owned brand powerful nation, it's not far away to make Chinese Dream come true. Later professor Liu gave a detailed explanation and deep analysis on a series of topics such as "what's the brand", "international competitiveness of China's brand" and "self-owned brand innovation and economic power", and pointed out that no plenty of strong self-owned brand products and enterprises would be fault and sorriness of an economic development country. At the end of the lecture, professor Liu pointed out "the approach of accelerating self-owned brand innovation", and encouraged every student to become "innovative talent", take national development as their own task, continuously perfect their own ability, extend imagination wings based on the fertile soil of Hunan University of Commerce , carry out continuous innovation, be bold in making practice and be determined to become an innovative talent of the new age. Professor Liu was full of spirit and energy and spoke forcefully which stimulated all students' emotion.
This lecture made students understand that China was being in the key stage of reform, China's economy was facing great challenge different from previous ones, changing from traditional OEM powerful nation to self-owned brand powerful nation was a very long process with necessity to explore and completing such great cause needed hard seeking and positive practice by contemporary college students to realize self-owned brand innovation.
