Experience Exchange Meeting held by Dean’s Office for MOOC Course Teaching

To know the basic situation of MOOC course teaching and further promote the course construction and reform, the Dean’s Office held MOOC course teaching experience exchange meeting in Meeting Room 208 of No.2 Office Building in recent days, and the offline mentors of various MOOC courses, student representatives taking MOOC courses and representatives of course provider Chaoxing Company attended the meeting.

At the exchange meeting, the teachers expressed their own opinions and shared the experiences in the course teaching process around MOOC course teaching practices, challenges, improvement ideas and other themes in this semester, and thought that MOOC objectively required the teachers to further strengthen the research, further grasp the course teaching rules and characteristics, constantly deepen the exploration and practice of flipped classroom under MOOC model, actively realize the transformation of their own role, and enhance the education and teaching ability. Meanwhile, everyone conducted the joint discussion on problems and puzzles in the course teaching process, and the Dean’s Office gave the active response to the relevant problems on the course class hour and fund, and put forward the corresponding solution plans.
After completing the teachers’ exchange, the student representatives shared their own feelings of participating in MOOC course learning, and thought that the flexible learning style changed the traditional fixed classroom teaching model, the independent arrangement of learning time enabled the students to have more learning autonomous rights, MOOC explanation of famous universities and teachers expanded their own horizon and enhanced the course grade and effect, so they were willing to continue to select the relevant MOOC courses. Meanwhile, students also put forward the relevant technical problems occurring in the course learning process, and the company representatives gave the answers one by one and put forward the specific prevention plan according to the course election and other behaviors.
Next, the university would further strengthen the system design, perfect the corresponding incentive and supporting policies, integrate the teaching resources, introduce the quality MOOC courses orderly, and steadily promote the independent construction of MOOC on campus in combination with MOOC teaching and management practice in this semester.
