“Lushan Senior Student Forum” Lecture Notice

On the evening of November 23rd, Law School’s “Lushan Senior Student Forum” was held in room B105 of Zhicheng Building. He Tianyu, senior student from class 1401, and Yin Shuai, senior student from class 1201, jointly made a experience sharing meeting themed “Seeking knowledge and promoting self-cultivation from practices.” Over 100 students from Law School attended this forum.

At the beginning, He Tianyu shared his gaining and experience in participating Model United Nations (MUN). He showed that it is because of his own intense interest that he took part in the MUN. This extra-curriculum activity can improve participants’ language competence, teamwork cooperation and leadership, enrich their know-how and broaden their horizons. He said academic research activities provide another platform for college students to improve themselves. Students should get rid of the utilitarianism and actively participate extra-curriculum activities to gain self-growth and enrich college life while focusing on study.

Then, Yin Shuai introduced experience of his extra-curriculum practice. He told his experiences of participating the Second session of Hunan model court, collecting clothes donation for the HOPE primary schools in poverty-stricken mountainous areas, giving legal aid in many communities as well as other social practices. He expressed that it is his honor to participate those meaning activities, and he appealed students to proactively engage into those activities to accumulate practical experience, open up their eyes and improve their professional ability in involving in the practices.

At last, Students raised many question to He Tianyu and Yin Shuai, and the two senior students patiently gave answers to each question. (Liu Longteng, Law School)
