62 teams from 36 universities consisting of students majoring in economics and management related subjects in Hunan Province participated in the competition and carried out blood-and-thunder competitive enterprise operation. Enterprise simulation operation depended on virtual system and abstracted inside and outside enterprise operation environment to a series of rules, simulated actual operating state of the enterprise by physical sand table and manual record with intention of setting up production and teaching convergence platform by butt joint of universities and enterprises, leading specialty course teaching reform, promoting learning exchange between economic administration disciplines and enhancing managerial and administrative personnel level of universities.
In the competition, 5 competitors of each team served as general manager, financial director, production director, marketing director and purchasing director, respectively. Each team was provided with an initial capital of virtual RMB 6.5 million, and should, within one and a half days, simulate 6 years’ enterprise operation including load financing, building production line, product research and development, market development, advertisement putting, etc., and students could understand enterprise operation and information-based procedure, experience competition between enterprises, get familiar with operation pattern of several links such as production and manufacturing, channel building, order obtaining, and improve enterprise operation and management capacity of systematic thinking and overall framework based on simulating enterprise operation.
The president of Hunan University of Commerce Chen Xiaohong said that management should take application and practice as guiding principle, combine theory and practice, macro and micro and pursue higher targets; Holding of "Seentao Cup" enterprise simulation competition made students more clearly understand enterprise business strategy and principle and know about methods and skills in human resource, financial management and operating management; The competition combined "internet +" and enterprise simulation, and drove the development of "mobile internet", "Internet of things", "cloud computing", "big data", "virtual reality", "artificial intelligence", "intelligent manufacturing" and "green information" in accordance with contemporary developing trend and deeply affected China's economic developing pattern; She hoped that students could know more about new economic environment, grasp opportunities and challenges and embrace new changes to lay a firm discipline and practice foundation for future employment and entrepreneurship and promote application and innovation ability.
At the same time, Hunan colleges and universities' educational reform development forum of both entrepreneurship and innovation and Seentao Technology new product experience meeting in 2016 were ceremoniously held, innovation and entrepreneurship education experts, scholasr, entrepreneurs and venture capitalists inside and outside Hunan Province got together, who made notes for "innovation and entrepreneurship education" based on different fields and visual angles such as government, colleges and universities, entrepreneur, enterprise, investor, etc. and discussed current situation, development and future of innovation and entrepreneurship education. The innovation and entrepreneurship education office director of Central South University Ms. Yang Fang introduced achievements and new measures regarding innovation and entrepreneurship education by Central South University based on "internet + innovation and entrepreneurship education reform practice of colleges and universities".
