Teachers of HUTB Achieve Good Results in College Informationization Teaching Competition in Hunan 2021

On December 19, 2021, the on-site final of College Informationization Teaching Competition in Hunan 2021 was held in Huaihua University, and two teachers from HUTB reached the final. After a fierce final competition, Luo Xiaoyu, a teacher from the School of Foreign Languages, won the first prize, and Yan Fei, a teacher from School of Finance, won the second prize.
The on-site final of informationization teaching competition is divided into three groups, including science and engineering, liberal arts and practice. The contestants shall show the achievements of information construction of the participating courses to the judges within 12 minutes, and show the application of software resources in the teaching of random courses through on-site teaching.
Since HUTB started the informationization teaching competition in May 2021, HUTB has attached great importance to it, and the Academic Affairs Division and relevant schools have carefully organized it. After the preliminary competition of schools, the final competition of HUTB, the semi-finals of province and the final competition, which lasted for more than seven months, the participating teachers took advantage of their rest time, invested a lot of energy, overcame many difficulties, and constantly polished and improved their entries. Academic Affairs Division worked out a detailed competition preparation plan, carefully organized experts inside and outside HUTB to build a competition team, and conducted much training, many guidance and many rounds of polishing on the teaching videos and on-site lectures of the participating teachers, which laid a solid foundation for HUTB to achieve excellent results.
In recent years, HUTB attaches great importance to the improvement of classroom teaching quality and teachers' professional ability, and promotes the core competitiveness and practical ability of teachers by carrying out "excellent courses and excellent rewards", teaching skills competition and teaching skills training of young teachers. The teachers of HUTB have achieved good results in the provincial teaching competition, which is directly resulted from the central position of teaching work strengthened by HUTB and the attention paid to improving the teaching level of teachers in recent years. It is hoped that the teachers of the whole university will take the award-winning teachers as an example, actively adapt to new technological changes such as informationization and artificial intelligence, improve the modern teaching level, enhance ability of educating people in courses, and make new contributions to promoting the construction of first-class courses and first-class majors.
