HUTB Achieves Good Results in 14th Challenge Cup Hunan Provincial College Student Extracurricular Academic and Technological Work Competition

From May 21 to 23, the 14thChallenge Cup Hunan Provincial College Student Extracurricular Academic and Technological Work Competition was held at Hunan University of Chinese Medicine. HUTB won 2 special prizes, 2 first prizes, 1 second prize and 5 third prizes and the Champion Cup of the competition, the best result since the start of its participation. 4 works from HUTB gained the qualification for the Challenge Cup national final competition, gaining a new breakthrough.

The GPRS-based Safety Protection for Chinese Female-Black Cat Female Alarmunder the guidance of teacher He Hongzhi et al. won the second prize. The Research on Path and Measures of Integrated Development of Rural Industry in Promoting Rural Revitalizationunder the guidance of teacher Yang Shuigen et al., the From Outside to Inside: How to Improve Satisfaction with Urban Residential Environment Improvement from the Perspective of Micro-governance of Communityunder the guidance of teacher Luo Huping, the Let Sales of Agricultural Products Sit Firmly on Cloud Express: Research on Standardized Development of Live Broadcast Sales of Agricultural Productsunder the guidance of teacher Lin Yun, and the Indoor Parking Management Method Based on the Combination of VLC and Machine Visionand the AI-based Intelligent Analysis Model and System for Learning Behaviorunder the guidance of teacher Xu Xuesong et al. won the third prize.
The Chief Leader of the university attached high importance to the competition. Since October last year, the working group on preparation for the 14thChallenge Cup provincial competition established by the Youth League Committee of the university has actively organized the in-house selection competition for the Challenge Cup college student extracurricular academic work competition, and invited experts inside and outside the university to review and refine the works submitted to the college competition. In response to the call, all the schools signed up, and submitted a total of 51 works. After the initial, intermediate and final selection competitions at the university level, the university submitted 10 excellent works to the Challenge Cup provincial competition.
The Challenge Cup college student extracurricular academic and technological work competition is the highest-level college student academic and technological work competition with the participation of most colleges and greatest influence. It is known as the “Olympic Games” in college student academic and technological competition. Under the theme of advocate science, pursue true knowledge, study hard, be dedicated to innovation and rise to challenge, the competition hosted by the Youth League Committee of Hunan Province, the Department of Education of Hunan Province, the Hunan Academy of Social Sciences, the Hunan Association for Science and Technology and the Hunan Provincial Students’ Federation attracted more than 100,000 students from nearly 100 colleges across the province. The competition sets up three categories, that areacademic papers in natural science, social survey reports and academic papers in philosophy and social sciences, and technological invention, and confers a total of 12 special prizes.
