HUTB’s Leaders Inspect First Class of New Semester

On the morning of September 7, as the bell rang, the first class of Hunan University of Technology and Business (HUTB) in the fall semester began. All HUTB leaders accompanied by the heads of relevant departments went to teaching buildings to check the classroom teaching and to inspect and instruct the work of school opening.
Tang Yayang, Secretary of HUTB Party Committee, and President Chen Xiaohong(an academician of the Chinese Academy Engineering (CAE))sat in Room C106 of Rixin Building to observe the lecture, “Basic Principles of Marxism”, given by Chen Lizhou, and in Room D309 of Economic Management Complex to observe the lecture, “Securities Investment A”, given by Tang Wenting. During the break, HUTB leaders cordially talked with the teachers and students, urging that the teachers should keep perfecting each class and that the students should take each class in high spirits.
Zeng Fuqiu observed the lecture of “Financial Management A” given by Zheng Ling, Liu Guoquan observed the lecture of “Operation and Management of Advertising Companies” given by Lyu Xiaohuang, and Nie Guoqing observed the lecture of “Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics B” given by Chen Qiqiong.
To well organize classroom teaching in the new semester, the Academic Affairs Division and all schoolsset up inspection teams to comprehensively check the attendance of teachers and students, their classroom performance as well as teaching equipment and other conditions. Overall, on the first day of this semester, the teachers and students registered good attendance, the teaching equipment operated normally, the teaching environment kept tidy, and the logistics support stayed strong. The teachers adequately prepared the lessons and explained carefully, and the students listened carefully in high spirits. The teachers and students cooperated well and formed an active and orderly atmosphere.
In addition, students with no class schedules also earnestly learned by themselves in libraries, study rooms, bookbars and other educational venues. HUTB’s teachers and students positively embraced the new semester and strove to develop another warm teaching and studying atmosphere.
