From Oct. 7 - 9, John Bowman, Vice President of Frostburg State University and other three persons visited our University.
President Academician Chen Xiaohong warmly received Vice President John Bowman and his delegation in Institute of Big Data and Internet Innovation. Both parties highly affirmed the China-America Cooperative Finance Project and reached a consensus on the future development. After the meeting, John Bowman and his delegation visited the environmental intelligent monitoring and big data analysis laboratory, artificial intelligence and robot innovation laboratory and Hunan Key Laboratory of New Retail Virtual Reality Technology presided over by Academician Chen Xiaohong.

In the afternoon of Oct. 9, the delegation talked with persons in charge of International Business School, and they reached a consensus on the operation and development of the project. Firstly, Frostburg State University continues to export the resources to further ensure the rights and interests of students and guarantee that the cooperative results of the two universities develop toward a better direction. Secondly, both parties actively prepare and cooperate to hold "Accounting and Finance" master program and strive to reach the preliminary cooperation intention within this year to lay a good foundation to the declaration of the master program of the next year and lay a channel for the further education of the graduates.
During the stay in the University, John Bowman and his delegation met with grade 2017 and 2018 students of China-America cooperative finance undergraduate program, and gave a lecture to 2018-grade freshmen from "fighters never feel lonely, learning culture well to become an international man and teamwork leads to success".
The visit of delegation is of great significance for promoting the operation of China-America Cooperative Finance Undergraduate Program, protecting the rights and interests of students of the program who are still studying and building a platform for the further education of students of the program.
