Another 11 Teachers of HNUC Will Go Abroad for Further Study

On the afternoon of March 31, HNUC organized an achievement exchange of 2016 overseas study teachers and a farewell party for 2017 visiting teachers. Vice President Liu Guoquan attended the meeting. Teachers who returned from 2016 overseas training , teachers who are going to visit abroad in 2017, and leaders from the Office of Academic Affairs, Personnel Office, and International Exchange Office also attended meeting.

Liu Zhi and other six teachers who returned from overseas training shared their training experience. Eleven teachers including Mo Jiaojiao and Wang Jing who will go abroad said they would cherish the visiting opportunity provided by the University, and fulfill the overseas training tasks by following the examples set by the first batch of overseas trainees.

Leaders from the Office of Academic Affairs, Personnel Office, and International Exchange Office interpreted the relevant policies for the visiting teachers in 2017, set task objectives, put forward valuable suggestions, and said they would do their best to serve the teachers receiving training overseas. 　　

Vice President Liu Guoquan expressed his earnest expectation for teachers going for overseas training. Firstly, wish teachers going for overseas training could cherish the opportunity to study, open up their international horizons, improve teaching ability and level, and take this opportunity to promote school’s teaching reform and enhance the role of demonstration; secondly, wish the visiting teachers could pay attention to their safety during their study, comply with local regulations, complete the study tasks as required, and return home as scheduled; thirdly, require the functional departments to offer more convenience and care for these visiting teachers, provide a platform, introduce advanced foreign teaching experience and model, and make due contribution to the University teaching reform pilot, and the acceleration of the process of HNUC’s "Three Promotions (to be a comprehensive key university with doctoral programs )" and the initiative of “Two First-rates (World-class Universities and First-class Disciplines)”.
