The Teachers of Our University Won the First Prize for the Classroom Teaching Competition of the Whole Province

On October 29, the good news from finals of classroom teaching competition for teachers in colleges and universities of Hunan province in 2016 was that associate professor Wang Ren - director of insurance department of School of Finance of our university eventually won the first prize in the finals through the university-level preliminary and provincial-level intermediary contest, and was awarded the honorary title of the "teaching experts in common colleges and universities of Hunan province" by Education Union in Hunan Province.

At the finals of Hengyang Normal University, teacher Wang Ren was the first to appear in the first group of the arts group, and the knowledge point of the given course is the "insurable risk" in the Insurance. His classroom language was vivid with the advanced teaching concept and rich teaching content. It closely followed the frontier of the subject development, and the teaching method was inspiring, so the classroom air was very active with strong appeal for which it received the consistent high praise from the experts of judge on the spot which fully showed the level and the graceful bearing of the teachers at our university for the classroom education.

This classroom teaching competition for teachers in colleges and universities of Hunan province in 2016 was presided over by the Education Department and Education Union of Hunan province, undertaken by the Institute of Education Sciences in Hunan, co-organized by Hengyang Normal University. To further promote to pay attention to classroom teaching and teacher professional development of colleges and universities in the whole province, continuously strengthen central position of teaching work, comprehensively improve talent cultivation quality, guide teachers to continuously improve their classroom teaching capability and level, focus on the establishment of the platform for sharing and exchanging the high quality education resources of the colleges and universities in the whole province.

It is reported that 229 teachers from 57 colleges and universities in the whole province participated in the intermediary contest of the four groups, which are liberal arts, science, engineering, foreign language, through the judge of experts on the web, and it was determined for the 70 contestants to enter the finals. 35 contestants won the first prize in the end.
