The Delegation Led by Lei Zhaozi, the Director of China Higher Education Student Information and Career Center, Came to Our University for Inspection

On the afternoon of October 20, Lei Zhaozi, director of China Higher Education Student Information and Career Center; Man Kaijie, director of Consulting Certification Division of the Center; Qiu Jiana and Lu Hongsong, cadres of Center Institute, came to our university to research the university students employment and entrepreneurship works under the companion of the director Cao Min and Zeng Jing, office directors of Hunan’s University and Secondary Specialized Schools Student Information Consultation and Employment Guidance Center, after that, they visited and surveyed our university's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base along with Ge Jianzhong, deputy director general of Provincial Education Department, and Xiong Junjun, director of Students' Affairs Division. The university leaders, Tang Yayang, Chen Xiaohong, Zeng Fuqiu, Liu Guoquan, Yang Liangqi-director of Office of Party and Adminstrative Affairs, as well as the responsible persons of Dean's Office, Students' Affairs Office, Recruitment and Employment Guidance Department, Youth League Committee, Schoolfellow Association, Entrepreneurship Education and Practical Teaching Center and all affiliated colleges attended the forum, which was presided over by secretary of the party committee Tang Yayang.
At the forum, secretary of the party committee Tang Yayang made a speech. First of all, he expressed his warm welcome and sincere gratitude for Lei Zhaozi and other companions because they considered HNUC as the first station when they came to Hunan for research on behalf of the university. And he made a brief introduction to the university overview, school-running history, teaching, scientific research, discipline construction, talent cultivation and other conditions. He said that our university always considered innovative & entrepreneurial education and employment works as the important tasks for the talent cultivation, and our university had implemented the documents spirits issued by the senior departments earnestly, and deepened reform in the aspect of innovative & entrepreneurial education and graduate employment works under the leading of Ministry of Education and Provincial Education Department in recent years. Due to the courageous innovation, our university had got certain achievements. He hoped that the delegation led by the director Lei Zhaozi could put forward guidance and many valuable suggestions to make our university's "mass entrepreneurship and innovation" education and employment works enter a new stage.
After that, president Chen Xiaohong reported our university's innovative & entrepreneurial education and graduate employment works of "build consensus, make reform and innovation, and fight for leading development". She said that the university had established the special organizations in the aspect of employment and innovative & entrepreneurial education for strengthening the pertinency and specialization of the related works. As for the employment, the university had organized graduate employment intention survey earnestly, carried out employment guidance through multiple channels, implemented various kinds of employment policies, made great efforts to hold on-campus job fair, utilized "internet+" mode to carry out employment works and put the graduate employment works in the first place. As for the innovation and entrepreneurship, the university had strengthened the top-level design, built courseware system, reinforced conditional assurance, established three platforms, promoted three-party linkage, as well as carried out four-wheel driving, and our university had realized the effective connection and mutual promotion between education and practice, meanwhile, we achieved obvious education results.
After listening to the report, director Lei Zhaozi gave full affirmation to our university's innovative & entrepreneurial education and graduate employment works. He said that employment was the biggest livelihood for people, the Party Central Committee and State Council paid special attention to the employment works and the state leaders had issued many directives about employment works. The colleges and universities shall not only pay attention to the employment rate, but also focus on the satisfaction degree, specifically, think about how to connect talent cultivation mode with the economic & social development, how to correctly understand the connotation, mission and function of talent cultivation, and how to make employment works with the basic purpose of cultivating students' vocational ability. At present, the innovation and entrepreneurship education reinforcement was considered as the trend of higher education development in the world. He laid special stress on cultivating innovative spirit for all students and carrying out entrepreneurial education guidance by different tiers, and hoped to reckon the innovation and entrepreneurship education in the whole process of talent cultivation for systematic planning and promotion, namely, put eyes on the lifelong development of every student.
Then, the delegation led by director Lei Zhaozi researched the Xiande Maker Academy under construction, the built Maker Center, Lingnan Maker Workshop, Lingnan Creativity Studio, University Students Creativity Bazaar, Buduo Hall Root-sculpture Art Gallery and other places under the companion of leaders who came from Provincial Education Department and our university. During the research, the leaders made exchange and communication with the responsible persons of entrepreneurship teams, the "bosses" of Creativity Bazaar and students who were discussing the entrepreneurship plan competition scheme in the Maker Workshop for knowing their opinions and practice for innovation and entrepreneurship.
