Our University's 9 Achievements Won the Eleventh Hunan Higher Education Provincial-level Teaching Achievements Awards

Recently, the Provincial Education Department published prize-winning project list of the Eleventh Hunan Higher Education Provincial-level Teaching Achievements Awards, and our university's 9 achievements won the prize. Therein, the professors Yang Hong and Liu Siwei won the first prize by right of their achievements, namely, "Ten-year Exploration about 'Practice-oriented' Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Talent Cultivation Mode of Local Commerce Universities", and "Characteristic Courses Construction Innovation and Practice in Trade Economics of Commerce Universities"; The professors Huang Fuhua and Li Lifang won the second prize by right of their achievements, namely, "Build Logistics Management Professionals Integrated Cultivation Platform based on Large-scale Customization" and "Build the Multidimensional & Three-dimensional Practical Teaching Mode and Cultivate Artistic Designing Innovative Talents"; The professors Peng Wenzhong, Tang Jian, Liu Tianxiang, Xie Xiaoliang and Luo Shuanglin won the third prize by right of their achievements, namely, "Cross-border Dialogue, Combine Literature with Commerce, and Innovate Literary Education Teaching Mode for Commerce University", "'Three-dimensional' Teaching Mode Research and Application of Accounting Courses", "Development and Construction Practice about Chinese Commodity Market Operation Overview", "Construction and Practice about Commerce-type '4*3' Application-oriented Mathematics Teaching Mode" and "Application-oriented Talents Cultivation Mode Research about International Economics and Trade Specialty in the Independent College". Our university ranked second in the second-tier undergraduate universities by right of our total number of awards and first prize, meanwhile, it was also considered as the best achievement in recent years.

The "Ten-year Exploration about 'Practice-oriented' Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Talent Cultivation Mode of Local Commerce Universities" was also considered as the achievement and experience summary of our university when we explored and practiced commerce cultivation mode since 2006. After ten-year exploration and practice, we had achieved obvious talent cultivation achievements. Accordingly, our achievements were also promoted and applied in multi-dimensional manner, as a result, the similar universities in Hunan Province were significantly affected, and our university was fully affirmed and widely concerned by education competent authorities and the media.

Relying on Trade Economics which was included in the national exquisite course quality engineering project, the "Characteristic Courses Construction Innovation and Practice in Trade Economics of Commerce Universities" had summarized the effective experience after 10-year construction. Our teaching team and course construction had reached a new stage and generated obvious achievements and comprehensive profits in the talent cultivation.

This Award appraisal was in a key stage of "three improvements" of our university, our leaders paid special attention to it, and the related departments were also positive to create favorable conditions for the foregoing award declaration and appraisal. Our university joined hands with all schools to comb the historical line, refine successful experience of talent cultivation, excavate the bright spots and characteristics during education and teaching reform, and invite experts to impart the valuable experience about teaching achievement award declaration, after that, diagnose the projects which were proposed to be recommended by our university, continuously optimize declaration materials and guarantee the overall quality of project declaration.
