Our School Held Cooperation Forum with Yuelu District

On the morning of June 23rd, District-School Cooperation Forum Between People's Government of Yuelu District, Changsha and HNUC was held in the 401 conference room of the second office building in our university. Some leaders and people in charge of some related departments including deputy Party secretary of Yuelu District Committee Zhou Chunhui, deputy director of the district Liu Xionghui, vice chairman of CPPCC Yu Yingzi, the director of District-School Cooperation Office Zhou Jianhua attended the meeting. In addition, Party secretary of our school Tang Yayang, the vice president Liu Guoquan, representatives of some secondary departments and of other units like Teaching Affairs Division, Research Administration Division, Students Affairs Office, Admission＆Employment Guidance Division, Entrepreneurial Education＆Practice Teaching Center also attended the meeting. Party Secretary Tang Yayang expressed thanks to Yuelu District Committee and Yuelu District People's Government for their attention attached to the cooperation and interaction. He also introduced the orientations and future development plan of our university. He pointed out, in order to respond positively to national strategy of innovation-driven development and the call of supply-oriented structural reform of higher institutions, our university focused on the goal of integral reform and transformation, place the innovation and entrepreneurship as the break point and a major part in the reform. The school leaders attached great importance to this and hope to further the cooperation with Yuelu District and promote the win-win development of the district and the school.
On the forum, director of Entrepreneurial Education＆ Practice Teaching Center Jiang Shuguang introduced the conditions about carrying out innovation and entrepreneurial education from seven aspects, namely, providing courses, setting credits, organizing teams, constructing the platform, establishing projects, organizing activities and improving the system. Heads and persons in charge from Yuelu District and our school respectively introduced the work already done and plan for future work.
Deputy district director Liu Xionghui indicated that in district-school cooperation we should focus on two major goals: to construct collaboratively high-level financial and economic university and together create innovative model of cooperation, and by building platform, organizing activities, promoting the transformation, building a think tank, sharing resources and cultivating the environment together to set up six major mechanisms, which are exchanges of decision-making level, cooperation of executive level, implementation of annual plan, regular contact for information sharing, personnel exchanges and mutual help of employment services.
Deputy Party secretary Zhou Chunhui further highlighted the significance of cooperation with our school, and put forward constructive suggestions such as co-constructing maker center, research and development projects, modern service industry development research center and practice teaching base by perfecting agreement, grasping the key issues, organizing high-quality activities and supplying good services and put forward hopes “to be concentric in the same direction, to keep in constant touch, to promise landing implementation, and to have mutual benefit”.
Vice president Liu Guoquan expressed that our school would always provide the intellectual support for the economic and social development of Yuelu District, and further clarify the mode of cooperation, content and mechanism, sign the comprehensive cooperation agreement as soon as possible to promote the implementation of specific cooperation content and project landing and strive to build a model of district-school cooperation.
