Work Conference on the 2016 Reexamination for Postgraduate Admission

On the afternoon of March 17th, work conference on the 2016 reexamination for postgraduate admission was held. School leader Mrs. Yang Xiaohong attended this conference, with personnel in charge from postgraduate school, disciplinary leaders of the authorized disciplines, directors of departments that offer professional degrees, dean of postgraduate education school, deputy dean of the Postgraduate School, teachers in charge from sub-disciplines and postgraduate students presenting in the conference. This conference was presided over by Mr. Zhou Xiancheng, dean of the Postgraduate School.
Mr. Zhou conveyed the relevant policies of the 2016 postgraduate admission, made a circular of the basic requirements of postgraduate reexamination stipulated by The national entrance examination for postgraduateand our school’s cut-off score. Zhou gave a detailed account of the work program of this year’s postgraduate enrollment and made arrangements and assignments for admission organizations, including their duties, reexamination content, method and many other concrete issues. And Mr. Yin Bibo, deputy dean of Postgraduate School, then explicitly explained several concrete jobs. Attendees made a heated discussion on the admission and specialty switching and other related issues.
During the meeting, Mrs. Yang Xiaohong, after conveying and explaining some relevant documents about transfer of degree authorized unit from Hunan Provincial Commission of Academic Degree, proposed three requests. First, the sub-institutional schools should formulate their own admission programs according to the school’s postgraduate admission program, and make the admission process more normative and transparent. Second, the sub-institutional schools should attach great importance to the admission, and make joint efforts with the Postgraduate School to make a good job in specialty switching and fulfill this year’s enrollment plan. Third, the Postgraduate School should keep in line with Hunan Provincial Education Examination Authority, and make a good coordination in specialty switching.
This conference has strengthened the communication and coordination between our Postgraduate School and all other sub-institutional schools, it plays a vital role for the orderly proceeding of our school’s postgraduates admission reexamination. (Postgraduate School)
