President Huang Xin Invited to Attend the 3rd Yangtze River Delta New Business Education Alliance University Forum

On October 18, the 3rd Yangtze River Delta New Business Education Alliance University Forum was held in Nanjing. The conference was hosted by Nanjing Audit University. The theme of the conference was "New Business Education: Conceptual Change, Changing Demands, and Practical Responses". Shanghai University of International Business and Economics, Nanjing Audit University, Anhui University of Finance and Economics, Zhejiang University of Finance & Economics, Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance, Ningbo University of Finance & Economics, and other universities in the Yangtze River Delta New Business Education Alliance attended. Professor Huang Xin, Deputy Secretary of CPC HUTB Committee and President of HUTB, was invited to attend and deliver an academic report titled "New Business Education Construction Practice from the Perspective of Interdisciplinary Integration".
President Huang Xin introduced HUTB's exploration, practice, and achievements in the integrated development of "New engineering courses + new business courses + new liberal arts courses" with science from the perspectives of establishing a quality-oriented university, strengthening scientific research, cultivating talents, and building distinctive schools. He believes that currently, new technologies represented by artificial intelligence, big data, and cloud computing are deconstructing, disrupting, and restructuring the global economic and market order. The new economy represented by the digital economy is also transforming the demand for business talents from traditional specialized skills to a combination of technological understanding, economic proficiency, and management skills. The development of new business education must break through disciplinary biases, integrate with other disciplines, continuously innovate in disciplinary knowledge systems, leverage new technologies in digital intelligence to empower education, and reconstruct traditional business education to cultivate new business talents that meet the requirements of the new era. The report received full recognition and high praise from the attending representatives.
The Yangtze River Delta New Business Education Alliance was jointly initiated and established in 2020 by Anhui University of Finance and Economics, Nanjing Audit University, Ningbo University of Finance & Economics, and Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance. It is an open organization targeting universities, industry sectors, and social institutions. The member universities of the alliance primarily focus on the keywords "integration" and "high quality". Following the principle of "complementary advantages and collaborative development", they work closely together, leveraging their respective strengths. They gradually promote teacher-student exchanges, credit exchange programs, jointly organize student innovation competitions, establish teaching and research platforms, and share educational resources. The alliance aims to create academic brand projects in the Yangtze River Delta, continuously support the development of new business talents, scientific research, and the economic and social development of the Yangtze River Delta region.
