2nd HUTB University Student Intelligent Navigation Technology Innovation Competition Held Successfully

Recently, the 2nd HUTB University Student Intelligent Navigation Technology Innovation Competition, hosted by the Academic Affairs Division and the Youth League Committee of HUTB, and organized by the School of Intelligent Engineering and Manufacturing, was successfully held in Room 304 of the Technology Building.
Zhao Xinyu, Vice Dean of the School of Intelligent Engineering and Manufacturing, said that the purpose of this competition is to cultivate students' scientific and technological innovation ability, engineering quality, and cooperation spirit. He encouraged the students to pursue science, seek truth, study diligently, and innovate boldly, and announced the official start of the competition.
The participating contestants were passionate and dedicated, showcasing their intelligence and creativity in every aspect, from algorithm design to hardware production, from user experience to system optimization. After intense competition and strict expert evaluation, the works "Research on Night Running Safety Guardian Based on Beidou Precision Positioning System and Wireless Communication Technology" by Chen Shoufeng and other students, and "Research on Deception Detection Technology Based on Satellite Navigation" by Liao Yifei and other students won the first prize in the technology production category and the technology creativity category respectively. The works "City Road Visual Navigation System for Robot Car Based on Yolov5" by Wu Zhifan and other students, and "Research on Indoor and Outdoor Collaborative Positioning System Based on BDS and Bluetooth" by Yong Linlin and other students won the second prize in the technology production category and the technology creativity category respectively. The works "Mobile Garbage Collection Vehicle Based on Beidou Navigation" by Tang Shichao and other students, and "Housing Monitoring System Based on Beidou Navigation" by Liu Jinyu and other students won the third prize in the technology production category and the technology creativity category respectively. HUTB will recommend these six works to participate in the 5th Hunan Province University Student Intelligent Navigation Technology Innovation Competition.
This competition provides a platform for students to display their talents and innovative works, and it is an innovative exploration that closely integrates intelligent navigation technology with human daily life, providing better solutions to practical problems.
