On the evening of April 25, as part of the HUTB 2024 Integrated Development of Culture and Technology Themed Education Season, the world-renowned classical ballet "Swan Lake" was elegantly performed. Teachers and students gathered together to appreciate this romantic, melodious, and gracefully beautiful ballet performance.
Professor Xiao Ming, a national first-level conductor and Dean of the School of Music, was the conductor of the concert, with Peng Liu serving as the artistic director. Enthusiastic young dancers from the Hunan Youth Ballet Theatre, both Chinese and foreign, performed, while the HUTB Xiangjiang Symphony Orchestra played passionately throughout the event.
The world-renowned classical ballet "Swan Lake" is a representative work of Tchaikovsky and a model of classical ballet, holding a significant position in the history of ballet. On stage, the dancers donned magnificent ballet costumes and gracefully leaped and spun, resembling swans soaring freely in the air. Through their exquisite dance skills and heartfelt performances, they vividly portrayed the love story of Prince Siegfried and Swan Princess Odette on the stage. The ballet combines high-quality audiovisual effects with top-notch stage art, immersing the audience in a fairytale world. The live performance received enthusiastic responses, with bursts of applause and cheers from the audience. They highly praised the excellent interpretation by the young dancers and symphony orchestra, as well as the choreography and stage effects.
