News Website-HUTB Student Tennis Team Wins 7 Championships in Inaugural China University Soft Tennis Championship

The inaugural China University Soft Tennis Championship took place from May 30 to June 2 at the Henan Provincial Sports Centre Stadium. Led by teachers Li Dongqi, Wang Yin, and Zeng Tongyi from the School of Sports and Health, our university's student tennis team achieved outstanding results at the championship. They won all seven events in the A Group, including men's team, women's team, men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles. Additionally, they secured the champion, runner-up, and third place in both women's singles and men's singles.

The championship was organized by the Federation of University Sports of China (FUSC), with the execution of FUSC Tennis Branch. The event was hosted by the Henan Province Sports Centre Stadium and co-hosted by Henan Yinqi Sports and Cultural Communication Co., Ltd. The competition featured a total of seven events: men's team, women's team, men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles. A total of 145 soft tennis players from 21 universities across the country gathered together to showcase their skills and talents.

Our university's student tennis team achieved excellent results in this competition, showcasing the fruitful achievements of the "Sports-oriented HUTB" development. They have added another splendid achievement to the reputation of our university. (Reported by the School of Sports and Health)
