HUTB Organizes Fitness Activities for Faculty and Staff

In order to promote the nationwide fitness campaign, liven up campus cultural life, and enhance the physical fitness of faculty and staff, the university recently organized fitness activities for faculty and staff.

At the event, professional instructors first explained the key points of the body-building exercises, demonstrated the correct warm-up preparations, and guided the faculty and staff in practicing various movements, including exercises for the head and neck, shoulder and chest stretches, and strengthening exercises for the waist and back. During the practice, the faculty and staff lined up in an orderly manner, demonstrating agile steps, graceful movements, and high spirits. As the music switched between different styles, everyone gradually mastered the content of the class, performing the exercises more skillfully and accurately, and gaining enjoyment from the fitness activities. The faculty and staff fully demonstrated an optimistic spirit, exuding an upbeat and uplifting demeanor, which attracted many teachers and students to come and watch, creating a strong fitness atmosphere.

This event is another vivid practice of the university's implementation of the nationwide fitness strategy, vigorously promoting the concept of "exercising for an hour every day, maintaining good health for fifty years, and leading a happy life for a lifetime". It aims to address the urgent and difficult issues commonly reported by faculty and staff, seeking to resolve the physical discomfort caused by long hours of sedentary work and promote the adoption of a scientific approach to fitness, fostering healthy exercise habits. These activities will be regularly carried out, including body-building exercises, Baduanjin, physical exercise to radio music, and other diverse contents, and have been well received and favored by the majority of faculty and staff.
